I have long been a fan of Jack Mcintyre's Photography! So it is with double pleasure that I can announce, "Motorcycle Event News" - BikeweekNews.Blogspot.com - is the ONLY event news feed on the new BIKERPICS.ORG  E-Magazine.

When it came to finding a studio assistant, who could model daily at the new Star Studios in Philly, Michelle Laksh was Jack's first choice. "She is the best model I have ever worked with in terms of pure beauty and knowing how to get the shot right the first time," he said.

Michelle has been working with Jack Mcintyre for several years -- and she has been to more rallies than most bikers! Her images are extensive and show her versatility as a model, working at events all over Philly and at bike rallies from Daytona Beach to Sturgis. Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorcycles

BikeTourGermany took a crew of riders to camp out at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto (24 Heures Moto,) April 17 & 18, 2010.

In keeping with tradition, the 33rd Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorcycles is the first round of the FIM Endurance World Championship consisting of five races in 2010.

The race has been held annually since 1978 on the Bugatti Circuit Le Mans, Sarthe, France.

The weather was warm when the riders rolled in. "Le Mans is a famous race and a famous track and it’s always exciting to be here," said tour guide-owner, Joerg Wenzel. "We are 30 meters from the track. That is how we enjoy 24 hr motorcycle races!"

"The evening is getting cold here at the race track, a fire and enough alcohol will bring us through the night. Race ends in 18 hours ( tomorrow at 15:00 ). Will be a long night."

Arizona Bike Week 2010 - The weather is perfect! It was 69 degrees (F) at 9 a.m. and record-breaking crowds have been showing up in full force by 11 a.m. every day at The Hideaway Grill ... somewhere in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Paul Yaffe showed up on Sunday to party with Mark (owner of Hideaway) and Kimmy Cruz. There was a big 13-mile parade of motorcycles, horseback riders and antique cars up highway 101 on Sunday... and a woman won $1,000 in the Hideaway Tattoo Contest for her full back tat!

Get Your Bling Here! "I am just loving it here at The Hideaway Grill," Kimmy Cruz reported by phone today... "Everybody is just so sweet, and so layed back. And I found a totally awesome collection of crystal bling plus men's Hellenbach and Crybaby Asshole MC clothing at the Hideaway retail store."

"People are just loving this warm weather, and of course there is no humidity. So they ride out to The Hideaway and spend the whole day in the sunshine, and then ride back when the temperatures start to drop into the 70s at night."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - This year the Big Mountain Run is scheduled for May 19th through the 23rd, 2010 and the line up is outrageous. To give everyone that wanted to do this last year and couldn't make it, we are keeping the gypsy run almost exactly the same. Wednesday may 19th we will meet at Tilley's Harley-Davidson in Statesville, NC where we leave at noon. From there we will take a two day Gypsy Tour through the Smokey Mountains stopping the first night at the Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley. These cats roll out the red carpet for us with a complete tour of the best motorcycle museum in the world. Camping is right on site that night and the next morning we take on the Dragon. US 129, the most notorious motorcycle road known to man. Then we cross the Cherahola Sky way and wind down through the hills to Reliance Tennessee for a three night party at Hiawassee Outfitters campground right on the river. At the campgrounds there will be live music all weekend featuring Crank County Daredevils, Last Vegas, Final Drive, Knucklehead, and Super Potent Death Baby just to name a few. There will be food vendors, The Cycle Source Chopper Show, mini bike racing and some of the best riding in the entire country. All this is included in your camping pass, just 10 dollars for one night, 20 for two or thirty to stay the whole time. Indian Motorcycle's LA Grand Opening

Iconic American manufacturer, Indian Motorcycle, is set to open up its first dealership on the West Coast with a big grand opening party slated for April 17-18. 

Indian Motorcycle Los Angeles is located under the same roof as California Harley-Davidson at 1521 Pacific Coast Highway in Harbor City.

The grand opening event is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18. For more info, phone 310-539-3366.

2010 BMW MOA International Rally

Now in it's 38th year, thousands of BMW motorcycle enthusiasts will travel from around the world to be a part of the BMW of America Motorcycle Rally.

Happening this year - July 14 to 18 in Redmond, Oregon, riders from across the USA, Canada, Mexico and beyond will enjoy the spectacular scenery and riding conditions that span deep green mountainous forests to the high desert of central Oregon.

David Allan Coe - Panheads Forever

This post is for my brother, Melvin Purscell in Des Moines, Iowa who is the best damn bike mechanic you will ever meet. He took an old Indian out of a farmer's ditch and restored it to "best of show" .. and he loves panheads. He named one of his wolves "Panhead."

Happy Easter Everyone!!! Blossoms To Ya! (Garcia/Grateful Dead.) It's 80 degrees in Florida and you can smell the Orange Blossoms as you travel the country roads on a bike. I was out riding my bicycle yesterday 10 miles on the West Orange Trail to Oakland Nature Preserve... saw lots of motorcycles along the roadways - saw the biggest peacock I have ever seen. Saw two goats with long crooked horns, road along the still waters of a country pond listening to all the great tunes on the Unplugged Collection Vol.1 - Paul Simon/"Graceland," Stevie Ray Vaughan/"Pride And Joy," Lenny Kravitz/"Are You Gonna Go My Way," Elvis Costella/"Deep Dark Truthful Mirror," Don Heanky/"Come Rain Or Come Shine," and Rod Stewart/"Gasoline Alley"... being out there in nature is time with God to listen to and to see this beautiful gift we call EARTH. Jesse James Goes To Rehab

Growing up in the 60's in America, the name "whore dog" was used to describe men like Tiger Woods and Jesse James, who in earlier times were referred to as "skirt chasers."

Get over it Jesse, you're just a man who got caught.

Jesse James checked into a treatment facility after nude photos of a tattoo model girlfriend surfaced. Jesse checked in to “deal with his personal issues,” his rep told People Magazine.  “He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family, and help save his marriage."

It was later confirmed by TMZ that Jesse checked in March 26 at Sierra Tucson, a facility that specializes in drug, alcohol, and sex addiction.

Adding to James’ woes this week, a much talked about photo of him making a Nazi salute while wearing an SS officer’s hat is now making the rounds in the media.

Actress Sandra Bullock, who has been married to James for almost five years, has reportedly moved out of their home since the revelation that he has engaged in at least four extramarital affairs.

 
As of this date, (April Fools Day) Jesse James has appologized for bringing “pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension” to his wife and children, but so far  stands by the claim that the “vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded.”

Of course, Jesse James - Hollywood media is not letting go of the story.
